It’s been one hell of an awful year gone by.
There were natural disasters all over the world, the overthrow of dictatorships, the rise of the oppressed citizen and the advent of the new world protestor and the near complete failure of the United States Government.
In all the events that did take place the life of the common man and woman had to go on and live with realities born of the lies told by and propagated by corporations, media, the church and government.
In all of this we, the people had to find ways to survive and make it. Some of the common folk didn’t make it. We lost many friends this year. We found out we are tougher than we look and that even a fucked up government can occasionally pull off a damn good victory. All in all, we the people found something to celebrate even in a year of terrible loss and bitter personal defeats.
So, I ask you, the people who view this blog regularly or on occasion or just now to vote by comment on your favorite blog entry of this year. Some of you would never comment on any of these entries because of the content or the salacious nature of the subject matter, but therein lays the life we live. We can choose to be holier than the rest of mankind but in the end we are all sinners, some saved by grace others cursed by providence.
Whichever you are, I ask you to let us know what your favorite blog entry of the year 2011 was. If you are afraid to speak your mind you can leave your comment anonymously. I thank you for your patronage and your interest in this blog and encourage you to let us know what subject matter you would like us to address in this new year.
